I’ve been attending JordanCon pretty regularly for a number of years now. It’s a really wonderful con directed by really wonderful people.
They also have exceedingly fine judgment in choosing participants, since they continue to invite me back. 🙂
This year, I’ll once again be doing a Big Lecture for those who want to come hear about history and such. Plus I’ll be doing some other things, too. Check it out!
Friday, 21 April
5:30: Panel on “Using History in Fantasy”
8:30: Writers’ Workshop (me and other professionals will review registrants’ work)
Saturday, 22 April
10:00: Panel on “Writing Well-rounded Characters”
11:30: Panel on “The Fog of War” (a look at how Jordan and Sanderson built battles)
2:30: Big Lecture on “Shards of History” (my research methods and most recent discoveries)
I think I’m giving a reading at some point, too.
All in all, it looks like it’ll be a great couple of days in Atlanta. Come one, come all!
